Forró New York has collaborated over the years with dance teachers, musicians, festivals, cultural organizations, photographers, videographers, local businesses, and artists connected to the international forró scene.
Many of these collaborations emerged organically through workshops, festivals, educational projects, community partnerships, and artistic exchange between Brazil, New York City, and other international forró communities.
Today, collaborations connected to Forró New York can take many different forms depending on the nature of the project and the goals involved.

A COMMUNITY-BASED ECOSYSTEM
One of the characteristics of Forró New York is the combination of educational work, artistic collaboration, festivals, social dancing, and long-term community development.
