This event is designed to elevate your Forró experience to new heights. With three nights of electrifying musical performances and festivities, you'll find yourself immersed in the heart and soul of Forró. Challenge your skills on the dance floor, connect with fellow Forrozeiros, and groove to the beats that make your heart race. Plus, take your dance expertise to the next level with advanced dance workshops led by renowned instructors. It's a dance haven created just for you!

Dance Beginners and Culture Explorer:

Are you a dance enthusiast with little or no Forró experience but an eagerness to explore new cultures?

 

The Forró New York Weekend welcomes you with open arms. We offer beginner-friendly classes to introduce you to the world of Forró. Immerse yourself in approximately 25 hours of cultural activities, including workshops and performances.

 

Join our beginner dance workshops, where experienced instructors will teach you the basics of Forró, so you can confidently join in the dance festivities. This event is the perfect opportunity to start your Forró journey, make new friends, and discover the vibrant Brazilian culture through dance.

Dancers with Diverse Backgrounds:

Are you a dancer from a diverse background, maybe you dance salsa, zouk ou tango? Are you curious to learn about Forró?

 

The Forró New York Weekend is a celebration of inclusivity and diversity. Join us in embracing the universal language of dance.
