COVID-RELATED POLICIES

The COVID situation in the world is always changing, and will continue to change until it is no longer a threat. We have considered this situation greatly, and have come to the following conclusion(s) about the upcoming Festival.

UPDATE AS OF 8/18/2021 - Forró New York IS NOW MANDATING participants to provide proof of full vaccination to participate in this event.

NYC is currently phasing in a requirement that anyone participating in INDOOR FITNESS and INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT events MUST provide proof of vaccination.

The Forro New York Weekend is considered part of this mandate.

Proof of vaccination may include:

• NYC COVID Safe App: Android | iOS
• Excelsior Pass
• CDC Vaccination Card (or photo)
• NYC Vaccination Record
• An official immunization record from outside NYC or the U.S

If you received the vaccine outside the U.S., you must have an official immunization record that includes:

• First name and last name
• Date of birth
• Vaccine product name (only vaccines authorized by the WHO are acceptable)
• Date(s) administered
• Site where the vaccine was administered, or name of the person who administered it

REFUND POLICY

If the event is canceled, due to a change in NYC restrictions that requires us to cancel, full refunds will be given.

Unfortunately, refunds will not be given for any other reason.

Tickets ARE transferable, so if there is any reason you cannot attend, you may give or sell your ticket to someone else.  Just send an email to forronewyork@gmail.com telling us the name of the person who will be using your ticket instead.  If you are looking for someone to sell to, there are a couple of local WhatsApp groups we can recommend to you to post your offering.
