About the Event

Join Rafael and guest instructor Camila for a special two-workshop series exploring emblematic movements from the forró roots style.

The workshops will focus on traditional movement concepts that are deeply present in roots-style forró.


MAY 20 - 8 PM

Caminhada or Trava: How to Know?


This workshop will explore two traditional movement concepts commonly found in roots-style forró: the walks and the breaks - Caminhada and Trava.


Although these movements may appear similar at first, they involve different body organizations, timing, intention, and connection cues.
